The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Karol Pierz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Crespo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Răzvan Spineanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eric Donnarumma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th minute, 姚然军 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eric Donnarumma was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jean-Pierre Barda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Karol Pierz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eric Donnarumma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Răzvan Spineanu in the 38th minute of the match. Aleksander Liermann made in the 44th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Wilson Morais however managed to control. After 46 played minutes RED BLUE STAR got a freekick which was hit by Corneliu Lupescu. In the 47th minute, Răzvan Spineanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. RED BLUE STAR made a substitution. Namık Kemal Korur replaced Răzvan Spineanu. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean-Pierre Barda made a kick off. Eric Donnarumma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 姚然军, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 played minutes Full Fart Framåt got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Liermann. Eric Donnarumma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 姚然军, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Full Fart Framåt's Kent Svanberg was substituted for Derek Cooke. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Full Fart Framåt's goalie and right to 姚然军. RED BLUE STAR were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Full Fart Framåt's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bacary Roudier took the corner. Bacary Roudier made a great header on RED BLUE STAR's corner, it was just that Full Fart Framåt's Eric Donnarumma managed to reach the ball for a save. Karol Pierz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Pierre Barda in the 95th minute of the match. The supporters of RED BLUE STAR booed when Full Fart Framåt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Olof Sjöström didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. RED BLUE STAR had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
