But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steven Bergwijn couldn't finish the play. After having played for 47 minutes, Edoardo Filippini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Royal PSG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edoardo Filippini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Royal PSG were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuel Izard made a kick off. Litoral EC - CIMZ's Vitor Cordoba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Izard in the 54th minute of play. Samuel Izard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vitor Cordoba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fang Yong Qiang during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Litoral EC - CIMZ made a substitution. Dagoberto Custódio replaced Andreas Iniesta. Litoral EC - CIMZ made a substitution. Joseph Joestar replaced Jonathan Petri. In the 77th minute, one of Royal PSG:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Royal PSG. Royal PSG:s Tristan Bétourne showed great skill when he stopped Joseph Joestar:s penalty. Tristan Bétourne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Bergwijn in the 84th minute of play. With a little luck, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Vitor Cordoba got control of the ball when Samuel Izard tried to sneak it across the goal line.
