The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as spikarna's Kaj Hård slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Silverio Cordearo. That made the score 1-1 after 9 minutes of play. In the 14th minute of the match, Sven Nordkvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Silverio Cordearo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 24th match minute, CA Quake was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Sadurni to maneuver through the defense. Silverio Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atakan Pepe, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Silverio Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Hamnberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, CA Quake's goalkeeper Silverio Cordearo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olof Hamnberg. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Reyes during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Silverio Cordearo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven Nordkvist went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Eduardo Ledesma kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Eloy Larra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CA Quake fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. With a little luck, CA Quake's Silverio Cordearo got control of the ball when Kaj Hård tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kaj Hård made a kick off. Silverio Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaj Hård, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 played minutes spikarna got a freekick which was hit by Birger Bergström. spikarna's Lars Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benicio Balasi in the 62nd minute of play. Silverio Cordearo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Nordkvist in the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaj Hård in the 65th minute of play forced CA Quake's goalkeeper Silverio Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CA Quake made a substitution. Jacobo Mouricio replaced Victoriano Sustrai. spikarna's Elof Hellsing was substituted for Olof Hamnberg. Benicio Balasi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Lars Norberg made a huge save. Sven Nordkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Cordearo having to interfere. Silverio Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaj Hård, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven Nordkvist struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Silverio Cordearo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for spikarna. In the 84th minute of the game, Kaj Hård landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Ciro Henry fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CA Quake's protests and gave Ciro Henry a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th minute, Ciro Henry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. spikarna's Atakan Pepe got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
