Gabriel Urtats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernie Dixon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeledon Sol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zeledon Sol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Urtats came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Jason Stuart. But to his dismay, Jason Stuart quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Areco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Galo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Rollins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Abaunza in the 25th minute of the match. Lucio Galo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucio Galo came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roman Rollins could save by the left post. When Areco FC's Zeledon Sol in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boca Juniors's goalie prevented a goal. Roman Rollins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Abaunza, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute Thanos Sapalidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Urtats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Areco FC's Gabriel Urtats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tyrone Marrero in the 42nd minute of play. 49 minutes into the match, Lucio Galo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Boca Juniors's Roman Rollins. Roman Rollins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Gabriel Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thanos Sapalidis in the 55th minute of play. Thanos Sapalidis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Gabriel Urtats skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Roman Rollins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Abaunza in the 58th minute of play. Gabriel Urtats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernie Dixon in the 59th minute of the match. Gabriel Urtats made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tyrone Marrero in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute, Aquiles Pirro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 70 minutes, Ernie Dixon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernie Dixon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brian Herget to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, Areco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thanos Sapalidis came free, but Gabriel Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Areco FC's Gabriel Urtats got control of the ball when Tyrone Marrero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gabriel Urtats was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Ernie Dixon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ernie Dixon really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Boca Juniors's Neil Kemp was substituted for Ernie Dixon. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Quentin Bullard replaced Thanos Sapalidis. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quentin Bullard got free with Gabriel Urtats in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Neil Kemp in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Urtats saved Areco FC from getting behind. Boca Juniors's Cyryl Karpinski was substituted for Tyrone Marrero. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Areco FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rich Jean was slow to take the kick. During this time Boca Juniors's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Areco FC's goalie and right to Quentin Bullard. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Areco FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 98th minute, Boca Juniors's Quentin Bullard dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. The Boca Juniors players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
