Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Trond Soltveit started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when James Feldthaus came free, but Andriy Lunin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goalkeeper Andriy Lunin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s David Elodio got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kjetil-André Grønseth was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Pladask's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached James Feldthaus at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.. 0-1. Andriy Lunin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from James Feldthaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute of the match FC Pladask got a corner. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kjetil-André Grønseth ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Christian Risnes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Andriy Lunin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trond Soltveit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Steffen Michalsky quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Aksel Røyrvik, made in the 23rd minute of the game. David Elodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. David Elodio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Grønningsæter having to interfere. Daniel Grønningsæter made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when David Elodio sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as David Elodio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Daniel Grønningsæter. That made the score 1-1 in the 33 minute of play. David Elodio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Grønningsæter having to make a save. Daniel Grønningsæter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Elodio in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Aksel Røyrvik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ödön Szily hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Elodio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. David Elodio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Grønningsæter having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanni Domingues in the 52nd minute of play forced SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goalkeeper Andriy Lunin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute, David Elodio made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Grønningsæter. FC Pladask's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Elodio in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Grønningsæter saved FC Pladask from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Elodio in the 59th minute of play forced FC Pladask's goalkeeper Daniel Grønningsæter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Elodio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Grønningsæter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemanja Vidić to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Grønningsæter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Elodio in the 64th minute of play. Daniel Grønningsæter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Elodio's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Steffen Michalsky got a free kick in the 71st minute. Andriy Lunin made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when James Feldthaus sent off a good shot on target. Andriy Lunin made an important save on a dangerous shot by James Feldthaus in the 74th minute. Daniel Grønningsæter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Elodio in the 75th minute of play. Andriy Lunin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trond Soltveit in the 81st minute of the match. Andriy Lunin came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Pladask's Trond Soltveit. But to his dismay, Trond Soltveit quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. With his leg Andriy Lunin managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when FC Pladask's Karsten Ludvigsen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 88 played minutes FC Pladask got a freekick which was hit by Gene Kelly. David Elodio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Grønningsæter having to interfere. Daniel Grønningsæter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Elodio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
