ACF Fiorentina's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Dariusz Brysz scored to the left of an out of position Federico Kalinowski, making the score, 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, FC Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Hernán Leandro came free, but Artur Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 played minutes FC Devils got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Tomaszewski. Artur Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Rune Fastesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Boruc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernán Leandro, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. ACF Fiorentina's Federico Kalinowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dariusz Brysz in the 36th minute of play. Artur Boruc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernán Leandro, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. ACF Fiorentina's Federico Kalinowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dariusz Brysz in the 38th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Artur Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Fastesson in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute Dariusz Brysz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Kalinowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Devils's Artur Boruc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save FC Devils from getting a goal against them. 62 minutes into the game, Bengt-Rune Fastesson lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Artur Boruc. ACF Fiorentina made a substitution. Maximino Cabezon replaced Enzo Miccio. If Maximino Cabezon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Cabezon in the 67th minute of play forced FC Devils's goalkeeper Artur Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Devils's Tobiasz Orszak was substituted for Isaac Henrico. The supporters of FC Devils booed when ACF Fiorentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horia Anisie didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Maximino Cabezon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Devils's goalkeeper Artur Boruc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Gaufred during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, ACF Fiorentina's Gabriel Gaufred got a free kick in the 81st minute. If Maximino Cabezon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Artur Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Cabezon in the 88th minute of play. When Dariusz Brysz came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the FC Devils fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dariusz Brysz couldn't finish the play. In the 92ndth minute of the game Maximino Cabezon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Devils's Artur Boruc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Devils were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ACF Fiorentina for a fine match.
