Spectators: 158 (Terracing: 119, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Santiago Mino got the match started through his kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Maximino Cabezon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Victorino Francis. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Victorino Francis came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by ACF Fiorentina's Dario Mirande. But to his dismay, Dario Mirande quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Marcelino Chaime scored 2-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Federico Kalinowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Mino in the 20th minute of play forced ACF Fiorentina's goalkeeper Federico Kalinowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Marcelino Chaime shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Kalinowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Palermo's Santiago Mino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Federico Kalinowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Federico Kalinowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Chaime in the 29th minute of the match. Federico Kalinowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Mino, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. With an all-out effort, Palermo's Federico Kalinowski threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arnoldo Medina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. ACF Fiorentina's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Gaufred was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 83rd minute of the match ACF Fiorentina got a corner. Palermo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gabriel Gaufred ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 89th minute, Hernán Leandro made a precise shot to the right of Victorino Francis. Palermo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. Palermo were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
