FC Devils's Artur Boruc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save FC Devils from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, Dariusz Brysz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Seraċini Għawdxin's Rahim Kornes. Rahim Kornes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Griffin in the 23rd minute of play forced FC Devils's goalkeeper Artur Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rahim Kornes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dariusz Brysz went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Artur Boruc stood somewhat misplaced when Samuel Griffin came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 32 minute. After 35 minutes FC Devils's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Neil Degabriele who took care of the corner kick. Seraċini Għawdxin's Neil Degabriele was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Artur Boruc in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 41st minute, Dariusz Brysz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rahim Kornes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 46th minute, Miguel Caruana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Devils's Rangel Parashkevov got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Seraċini Għawdxin players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Devils were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Song Wei Yun to strike the kick off in the second half. FC Devils's Artur Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Negro in the 51st minute of play. In the 56th minute FC Devils were awarded a corner. Rangel Parashkevov went to the cornerflag to take it. FC Devils's Rangel Parashkevov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rahim Kornes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to FC Devils getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Fabiano Tomaszewski hit a great ball. After 58 played minutes FC Devils got a freekick which was hit by Rangel Parashkevov. 59 minutes into the match, FC Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Neil Degabriele came free, but Artur Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 60 played minutes Seraċini Għawdxin got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Caruana. In the 61st minute, Seraċini Għawdxin's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dariusz Brysz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Artur Boruc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Negro, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute, Dariusz Brysz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rahim Kornes. The goal made the score 1-4. Rahim Kornes made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Dariusz Brysz sent off a good shot on target. Seraċini Għawdxin's Rahim Kornes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dariusz Brysz in the 73rd minute of play. If 雷然杰 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Devils made a substitution. Tobiasz Orszak replaced Isaac Henrico. Artur Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Song Wei Yun in the 78th minute of play. A collision led to Seraċini Għawdxin getting a freekick after 80 minutes play.
