Inacio F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Espigão Steamrollers the free kick. Inacio F.C.'s João Oliveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Inacio F.C. from getting a goal against them. The corner led Espigão Steamrollers's Oswaldo Nascimento to fire away a dangerous shot which João Oliveira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roneixon Siqueira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Inacio F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. João Oliveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roneixon Siqueira's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the game, Espigão Steamrollers's Roneixon Siqueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Oliveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Yuri Paranaense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Oliveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. João Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Paranaense in the 83rd minute of the match. Yuri Paranaense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Oliveira having to make a save. João Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Paranaense in the 85th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leandro Gil during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Espigão Steamrollers's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
