Arí Toscano hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute Severiano Nel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Oranil's Juan Velloso got control of the ball when Severiano Nel tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Catarinense in the 15th minute of play. Sérgio Freire charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sérgio Freire the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Inacio F.C. booed when Oranil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. With splendid footwork Severiano Nel arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 24th minute. In the 27th minute, Luís Paulo Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severiano Nel got free with Juan Velloso in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Inacio F.C.'s zone, Edmílson Catarinense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Oliveira came out of the goal and Edmílson Catarinense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gwidon Babicki kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Juan Velloso stood somewhat misplaced when Severiano Nel came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 35 minute. 43 minutes into the game, Inacio F.C.'s Severiano Nel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Velloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 57th minute, Carlos Fernando Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 58 minutes, Gwidon Babicki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inacio F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gwidon Babicki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oranil's Juan Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Nel in the 59th minute of play. In the 61stth minute of the game Severiano Nel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oranil's Juan Velloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 62 played minutes Inacio F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Luís Paulo Meira. When Luís Paulo Meira fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inacio F.C.'s protests and gave Luís Paulo Meira a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Inacio F.C. getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Luís Paulo Meira hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Oranil's Hílton Cosme broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Bernardo Paranaense lost his temper 73 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Inacio F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Oranil:s goal. Inacio F.C.:s João Oliveira showed great skill when he stopped Sérgio das Neves:s penalty. João Oliveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kléber Saldanha in the 76th minute. In the 83rd minute, Ademar Pimenta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the game, Inacio F.C.'s Válbson Sousa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Velloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After a rather tough play, Oranil's Kléber Saldanha got a free kick in the 90th minute. After 92 played minutes Oranil got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio das Neves.
