With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgilio Mateus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Robert Müürsepp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmo Saldanha having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Ruy de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of JK Kurevere booed when Jovens Democratas MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Riivo Arro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dalmo Saldanha. Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the game's 32nd minute JK Kurevere's Riivo Arro took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Dalmo Saldanha and thus the score was 1-0. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jovens Democratas MZC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Riivo Arro was slow to take the kick. During this time JK Kurevere's players had a chance to rest. Dalmo Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dawid Beninda in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Chico de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Mateus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Müürsepp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Dalmo Saldanha made a huge save. After 42 minutes, Ruy de Brito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jovens Democratas MZC and the JK Kurevere players grew even worse after the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dawid Beninda to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Marco van Basten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jovens Democratas MZC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco van Basten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 53 minutes into the match, JK Kurevere's goalkeeper Virgilio Mateus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chico de Sousa. After 53 played minutes JK Kurevere got a freekick which was hit by Robert Müürsepp. When Jovens Democratas MZC's Dobromir Zagrodny in 60 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Virgilio Mateus guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 61 minutes into the game, Manel Fonelleda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Dalmo Saldanha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ruy de Brito in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Virgilio Mateus, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Einar Reisalu in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dalmo Saldanha saved Jovens Democratas MZC from getting behind. Virgilio Mateus was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Serginho Sabóia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 77 minute of play. Serginho Sabóia let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 83rd minute shot 4-2 at rihgt post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chico de Sousa got free with Virgilio Mateus in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Mairo Koppelmann put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Dalmo Saldanha. JK Kurevere's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Serginho Sabóia scored to the left of an out of position Virgilio Mateus, making the score, 5-3. For all the effort they put into the match, the Jovens Democratas MZC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for JK Kurevere.
