Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Espigão Steamrollers's Roneixon Siqueira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chico de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Gonçalo de Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roneixon Siqueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalmo Saldanha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Gonçalo de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xu Li Sang in the 7th minute of the match. Gonçalo de Medeiros came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Jovens Democratas MZC's Xu Li Sang. But to his dismay, Xu Li Sang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gonçalo de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico de Sousa in the 10th minute of the match. The corner led Jovens Democratas MZC's Ruy de Brito to fire away a dangerous shot which Gonçalo de Medeiros despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Roneixon Siqueira 13 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xu Li Sang in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonçalo de Medeiros saved Espigão Steamrollers from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roneixon Siqueira. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gonçalo de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chico de Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 32 minutes of play, Jovens Democratas MZC's Chico de Sousa made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gonçalo de Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the match, Espigão Steamrollers's goal looked a bit too open when Chico de Sousa came free, but Gonçalo de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roneixon Siqueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Dalmo Saldanha made a huge save. In the 42nd minute Roneixon Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Roneixon Siqueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Espigão Steamrollers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The audience was convinced that Chico de Sousa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gonçalo de Medeiros was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roneixon Siqueira in the 47th minute of play forced Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chico de Sousa to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Espigão Steamrollers's Roneixon Siqueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dalmo Saldanha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gonçalo de Medeiros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruy de Brito in the 56th minute. Xu Li Sang's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gonçalo de Medeiros firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 62nd minute Jovens Democratas MZC were awarded a corner. Ruy de Brito went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ruy de Brito almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Espigão Steamrollers's Gonçalo de Medeiros did a great save. Xu Li Sang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roneixon Siqueira in the 68th minute of play forced Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Espigão Steamrollers's Gonçalo de Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Espigão Steamrollers from getting a goal against them. Espigão Steamrollers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Chico de Sousa scored to the left of an out of position Gonçalo de Medeiros, making the score, 2-3. Jovens Democratas MZC made a substitution. Marco van Basten replaced Durval de Queirós. 83 minutes into the match, Roneixon Siqueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmo Saldanha. Jovens Democratas MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roneixon Siqueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Gonçalo de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elano Loureiro in the 87th minute of play. Xu Li Sang might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gonçalo de Medeiros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xu Li Sang ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Espigão Steamrollers defense, Chico de Sousa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gonçalo de Medeiros. The Espigão Steamrollers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gonçalo de Medeiros should have stopped the shot. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Jovens Democratas MZC booed when Espigão Steamrollers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kara Bhattacharya didn't get a good kick on the ball.
