Benjamin Price showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ted Almstedt in the 5th minute of the match. After 7 minutes, Leon Napierkowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Characate FC and the Runa United players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Matthias Lundin came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Runa United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matthias Lundin couldn't finish the play. A nice corner shot did that Emre Can got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nils-Erik Åhlberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Runa United's zone, Leopoldo Afonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils-Erik Åhlberg came out of the goal and Leopoldo Afonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, Runa United's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Francesco came free, but Nils-Erik Åhlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Price took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Söderström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo Afonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Erik Åhlberg having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Ted Almstedt notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Characate FC's Benjamin Price. Benjamin Price was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zacarias Francesco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Nils-Erik Åhlberg made a huge save.

In the 53rd minute, Runa United's Harry Boumans dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Benjamin Price made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Harry Boumans sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute Leopoldo Afonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Erik Åhlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Price made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harry Boumans in the 68th minute. It was a well-played corner which Leopoldo Afonso managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 75 minutes into the match, Characate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Söderström came free, but Benjamin Price reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Price made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harry Boumans in the 81st minute. A collision led to Characate FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Leon Napierkowski hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute Leopoldo Afonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Erik Åhlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Characate FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Runa United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
