Axel Ree started the match with the kick off. Paco Dean didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Axel Ree went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Kristen Gulskov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Czeslaw Banan, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 14 played minutes MKS Legion Częstochowa got a freekick which was hit by Valter Festas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Czeslaw Kostrzewski in the 18th minute of play forced Monks in Robes's goalkeeper Kristen Gulskov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Czeslaw Banan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Kristen Gulskov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29thth minute of the game Axel Ree who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MKS Legion Częstochowa's Paco Dean was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Axel Ree put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Paco Dean. Axel Ree's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Paco Dean skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Ree in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paco Dean saved MKS Legion Częstochowa from getting behind. Paco Dean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Ree in the 39th minute of play. In the 42ndth minute of the game Axel Ree who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MKS Legion Częstochowa's Paco Dean was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 70th minute Axel Ree shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paco Dean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes, Krzysztof Jajecznica mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MKS Legion Częstochowa and the Monks in Robes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st match minute, MKS Legion Częstochowa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krzysztof Jajecznica to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the MKS Legion Częstochowa players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Monks in Robes.
