Rene Vereijt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kåre Uter, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Cihan Uzkan's late challenge caught a FC Ouagadougou National's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cihan Uzkan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Plebeyos getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Cihan Uzkan hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Abdulla Baia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arsenio Cordeal. Plebeyos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdulla Baia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 26th minute, Jedrzej Kiszkiel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arsenio Cordeal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 34th minute, Plebeyos's Valentin Vergaray ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rene Vereijt. Rene Vereijt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaden Hutton got free with Rene Vereijt in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arsenio Cordeal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdulla Baia, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Plebeyos's Valentin Vergaray sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rene Vereijt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dani Rojas in the 41st minute of play forced Plebeyos's goalkeeper Arsenio Cordeal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Plebeyos's Arsenio Cordeal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jedrzej Kiszkiel in the 43rd minute of play. Arsenio Cordeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulla Baia in the 46th minute of play. After 47 minutes Plebeyos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dani Rojas who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on FC Ouagadougou National's corner Dani Rojas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arsenio Cordeal quite easily take care of the ball. The Plebeyos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Ouagadougou National were winning 1-3.

The wind increased when Abdulla Baia made the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Abdulla Baia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Plebeyos's Arsenio Cordeal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arsenio Cordeal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdulla Baia, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Hamza Yavaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsenio Cordeal having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Plebeyos's goal looked a bit too open when Jedrzej Kiszkiel came free, but Arsenio Cordeal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ouagadougou National's zone, Aaden Hutton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Vereijt came out of the goal and Aaden Hutton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jedrzej Kiszkiel in the 65th minute of play forced Plebeyos's goalkeeper Arsenio Cordeal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdulla Baia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Arsenio Cordeal made a huge save. After 67 played minutes FC Ouagadougou National got a freekick which was hit by Baba R. Hansen. 71 minutes into the match, FC Ouagadougou National's Hamza Yavaş sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arsenio Cordeal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 75th minute Valentin Vergaray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Vereijt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Plebeyos's Arsenio Cordeal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamza Yavaş in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Plebeyos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dani Rojas was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Ouagadougou National's players had a chance to rest. The FC Ouagadougou National players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
