Dida Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurel Beldeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurel Beldeanu in the 19th minute of play forced Marquês de Herval's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dida Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İrfan Attar, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Sandu Vlaicu came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Marquês de Herval's Dorian Moraes. But to his dismay, Dorian Moraes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Dida Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurel Beldeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dida Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurel Beldeanu in the 31st minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Marquês de Herval's goal looked a bit too open when Aurel Beldeanu came free, but Dida Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by İrfan Attar in the 36th minute of play forced Marquês de Herval's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aurel Beldeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Cano in the 40th minute of play forced FC Urzicuța's goalkeeper Sandu Vlaicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 played minutes Marquês de Herval got a freekick which was hit by Moussa Kabre. Sandu Vlaicu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorian Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when İrfan Attar made the kick off in the second half. When Aurel Beldeanu came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the FC Urzicuța fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurel Beldeanu couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the FC Urzicuța defense, Dorian Moraes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sandu Vlaicu. The FC Urzicuța fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sandu Vlaicu should have stopped the shot. FC Urzicuța's Sandu Vlaicu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Cano in the 59th minute of play. Sandu Vlaicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Aurel Beldeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, FC Urzicuța's Dida Taffarel threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aurel Beldeanu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dida Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İrfan Attar, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurel Beldeanu in the 70th minute of play forced Marquês de Herval's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. İrfan Attar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Dida Taffarel made a huge save. 79 minutes into the match, FC Urzicuța's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Martins came free, but Sandu Vlaicu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dida Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurel Beldeanu in the 87th minute of the match. FC Urzicuța's Sorin Bârlă was substituted for İrfan Attar. Aurel Beldeanu made a great header on FC Urzicuța's corner, it was just that Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel managed to reach the ball for a save. 92 minutes into the match, Marquês de Herval's goal looked a bit too open when Aurel Beldeanu came free, but Dida Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Urzicuța's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
