Academia 1903's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fidel Tadzio made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Francesco Romino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Estevez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Johan Ström might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Estevez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johan Ström ran back to his position shaking his head. 60 minutes into the game, Ernesto Martini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Juan Estevez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joel Hibai took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Estevez. Juan Estevez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Juan Estevez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Hibai in the 67th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lunatics of Arianrhod's zone, Siro Orlanda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Manfredi came out of the goal and Siro Orlanda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lunatics of Arianrhod's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
