Dida Taffarel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jakub Fedor went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Dida Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakub Fedor in the 12th minute of the match. With a little luck, Academia 1903's Primo Speranza got control of the ball when Vinny Junior tried to sneak it across the goal line. Academia 1903's Primo Speranza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Academia 1903 from getting a goal against them. Timoteo Columbo scored 0-3 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dida Taffarel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th minute, Jakub Fedor made a precise shot to the right of Dida Taffarel. Marquês de Herval's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Dida Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Columbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dida Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakub Fedor in the 40th minute of play. In the 40th minute Jakub Fedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Marquês de Herval's Primo Speranza threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from German Cano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Primo Speranza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Martins in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Dida Taffarel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timoteo Columbo went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Marco Rincón kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Academia 1903's Leon Matthäus was substituted for Timoteo Columbo. 62 minutes in the game Toby Major did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Vinny Junior. Gérard Magyar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Academia 1903's Primo Speranza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Cano in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Vinny Junior came free, but Primo Speranza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78thth minute of the game Vinny Junior who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia 1903's Primo Speranza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Vinny Junior came free, but Primo Speranza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Academia 1903's Primo Speranza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinny Junior in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Academia 1903 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
