But to his dismay, Joel Hibai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Hibai to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Marquês de Herval's zone, Walter Giusti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Taffarel came out of the goal and Walter Giusti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Cristoforo Tammaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Paraibano in the 60th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Martins came free, but Cristoforo Tammaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 played minutes Lunatics of Arianrhod got a freekick which was hit by Dário Pereira. In the 68th minute Nestor Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Tammaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute Ernesto Martini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Francesco Romino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dida Taffarel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Cristoforo Tammaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Cano in the 91st minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
