The supporters of Montevideo City Torque booed when Bloodthirsty FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Norberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alkestis Papadopulos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kenneth Biörkquist. Bloodthirsty FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Yves Passot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yves Passots short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Kenneth Biörkquist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kenneth Biörkquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yves Passot in the 21st minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Bloodthirsty FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Norberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alkestis Papadopulos in the 24th minute of play forced Bloodthirsty FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Biörkquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yves Passot got free with Kenneth Biörkquist in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yves Passot might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kenneth Biörkquist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yves Passot ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yves Passot got free with Kenneth Biörkquist in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute, Yves Passot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kenneth Biörkquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The throw-in from Anders Njurenius in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Montevideo City Torque's Ospetsu Villarmerin. 63 minutes into the match, Bloodthirsty FC's goal looked a bit too open when Betadur Medel came free, but Kenneth Biörkquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ticho Covarrubias in the 70th minute of play forced Bloodthirsty FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Biörkquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenneth Biörkquist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Betadur Medel's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betadur Medel in the 78th minute of play forced Bloodthirsty FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Biörkquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Leizaur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Betadur Medel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bloodthirsty FC's Elliott Bennet was substituted for Edvin Kullander. Bloodthirsty FC's Olof Västerberg was substituted for Nils Lidström. When Håkan Viklund fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bloodthirsty FC's protests and gave Håkan Viklund a yellow card for diving instead. Håkan Viklund kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Betadur Medel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. When the referee ended the match the Montevideo City Torque players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
