The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nicklas Lindström hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. The supporters of BYDGOSTIA booed when FC Alytus United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauras Normantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Olgierd Kowalski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daugirdas Burokas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When BYDGOSTIA's Olgierd Kowalski in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a little luck, BYDGOSTIA's Zbyszko Leper got control of the ball when Lauras Normantas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daugirdas Burokas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgierd Kowalski, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 40 played minutes BYDGOSTIA got a freekick which was hit by Nicklas Lindström. Dariusz Smuskiewicz hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgierd Kowalski in the 44th minute of play forced FC Alytus United's goalkeeper Daugirdas Burokas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladislav Sarafov kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half BYDGOSTIA were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lauras Normantas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Mariusz Warka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daugirdas Burokas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 58th minute, BYDGOSTIA's Olgierd Kowalski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Olgierd Kowalski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daugirdas Burokas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Olgierd Kowalski struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Daugirdas Burokas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BYDGOSTIA. FC Alytus United made a substitution. Saulius Inzaghi replaced Lauras Normantas. Zbyszko Leper stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saulius Inzaghi's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the game, Saulius Inzaghi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Zbyszko Leper was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. BYDGOSTIA's Sebastian Bochynski was substituted for Patryk Zgonina. FC Alytus United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Olgierd Kowalski scored to the left of an out of position Daugirdas Burokas, making the score, 1-6. BYDGOSTIA's Marcin Prusinowski was substituted for Piotr Gorzkiewicz. BYDGOSTIA made a substitution. Yu Ran Fan replaced Emil Piesciuk. Daugirdas Burokas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yu Ran Fan in the 82nd minute of the match. Daugirdas Burokas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yu Ran Fan went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. After 87 played minutes BYDGOSTIA got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Bochynski. The FC Alytus United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching BYDGOSTIA's performance. The match ended with a win for BYDGOSTIA.
