The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jimmy Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Spike Bond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Arvid Carlsson came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Linköpings AIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arvid Carlsson couldn't finish the play. Memphis Grizzlies's Pat Zamora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Carlsson in the 13th minute of play. Spike Bond struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Jimmy Olsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Memphis Grizzlies. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Spike Bond managed to get in a good position for a shot. Memphis Grizzlies's supporters rose to their feet, but Spike Bond was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimmy Olsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erling Haaland in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimmy Olsson saved Linköpings AIK from getting behind. 26 minutes into the match, Memphis Grizzlies's goal looked a bit too open when George Gunnarsson came free, but Pat Zamora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th play minute George Gunnarsson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pat Zamora. 1-0. 34 minutes into the match, Arvid Carlsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pat Zamora, 2-0. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Pat Zamora successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Spike Bond scored 2-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jimmy Olsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, Linköpings AIK's Pat Zamora threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from George Gunnarsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pat Zamora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvid Carlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Pat Zamora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Nilsson in the 51st minute of the match. With a little luck, Linköpings AIK's Jimmy Olsson got control of the ball when Spike Bond tried to sneak it across the goal line. Memphis Grizzlies's Pat Zamora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Carlsson in the 57th minute of play. Pat Zamora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvid Carlsson in the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvid Carlsson in the 63rd minute of play forced Memphis Grizzlies's goalkeeper Pat Zamora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yin Zhen Feng during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Yin Zhen Feng kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Memphis Grizzlies's Brian Kay was substituted for Brandon Branson. Memphis Grizzlies made a substitution. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Linköpings AIK reached it. Jimmy Olsson made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Sam Bates sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute Albin Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pat Zamora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimmy Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Bates in the 72nd minute of play. In the 78th minute of the match Memphis Grizzlies got a corner. Linköpings AIK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Brian Kay ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pat Zamora stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of George Gunnarsson's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 3-1 when George Gunnarsson sped through Memphis Grizzlies's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pat Zamora. In the 89th minute George Gunnarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pat Zamora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimmy Olsson made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Sam Bates sent off a good shot on target. Sam Bates scored 3-2 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jimmy Olsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Linköpings AIK had played much better football throughout.
