The audience was convinced that Tauras Wijnaldum's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zbyszko Leper was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. If Sebastian Bochynski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 8 minutes into the game, Olgierd Kowalski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Daugirdas Burokas. Olgierd Kowalski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 11 minutes into the game, Olgierd Kowalski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Daugirdas Burokas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 22 minutes into the match, Olgierd Kowalski notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of FC Alytus United's Daugirdas Burokas. Daugirdas Burokas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Olgierd Kowalski might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daugirdas Burokas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olgierd Kowalski ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 29th match minute, BYDGOSTIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicklas Lindström to maneuver through the defense. Zbyszko Leper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tauras Wijnaldum in the 33rd minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Alytus United defense, Olgierd Kowalski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daugirdas Burokas. The FC Alytus United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daugirdas Burokas should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes in the game Vilmer Röd did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Karl-Michael Bremming. In the 47th match minute, BYDGOSTIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladislav Sarafov to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, BYDGOSTIA's goal looked a bit too open when Deividas Mencendorfs came free, but Zbyszko Leper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olgierd Kowalski to make the kick off. If Nicklas Lindström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tauras Wijnaldum hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, BYDGOSTIA's Olgierd Kowalski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daugirdas Burokas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Regimantas Šileikis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszko Leper having to interfere. FC Alytus United made a substitution. Saulius Inzaghi replaced Lauras Normantas. Zbyszko Leper stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tauras Wijnaldum's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, Olgierd Kowalski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daugirdas Burokas was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Saulius Inzaghi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Zbyszko Leper made a huge save. In the 77thth minute of the game Olgierd Kowalski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Alytus United's Daugirdas Burokas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute, Olgierd Kowalski had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Deividas Mencendorfs's late challenge caught a BYDGOSTIA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Deividas Mencendorfs helped the player get up and apologised. BYDGOSTIA's Marcin Prusinowski was substituted for Piotr Gorzkiewicz. BYDGOSTIA's Patryk Zgonina was substituted for Sebastian Bochynski. A collision led to FC Alytus United getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Deividas Mencendorfs hit a great ball. Olgierd Kowalski struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Daugirdas Burokas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BYDGOSTIA. 89 minutes into the match, FC Alytus United's goal looked a bit too open when Marcin Prusinowski came free, but Daugirdas Burokas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Saulius Inzaghi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saulius Inzaghi got free with Zbyszko Leper in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Alytus United's Daugirdas Burokas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patryk Zgonina in the 96th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. BYDGOSTIA had won after a very even match.
