Jimmy Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olgierd Kowalski in the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Linköpings AIK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Patryk Zgonina was slow to take the kick. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The Linköpings AIK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching BYDGOSTIA's performance. The match ended with a win for BYDGOSTIA.
