In the 14thth minute of the game Damião Granja who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stakbröte's Bai Jian Ao was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 16 played minutes Stakbröte got a freekick which was hit by Lars Jens. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Ren Zhi Ke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kaplan's supporters rose to their feet, but Ren Zhi Ke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bai Jian Ao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bai Jian Ao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damião Granja in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Sverker Hydén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bai Jian Ao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ren Zhi Ke, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ren Zhi Ke in the 26th minute of play forced Stakbröte's goalkeeper Bai Jian Ao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Luciano Victoro fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kaplan's protests and gave Luciano Victoro a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Sverker Hydén put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Emilian Martinez. Kaplan's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
