DJK Füchtel Vechta's Gerold Zollt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Lluques in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidiu Poenaru in the 21st minute of play forced Q. T. I.'s goalkeeper Paulo Txatxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ovidiu Poenaru came free, but Paulo Txatxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DJK Füchtel Vechta were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Q. T. I.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcus Terstappen took the corner. The corner ended in Marcus Terstappen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Q. T. I.'s Paulo Txatxu did a great save. Anibal Lluques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 35 played minutes DJK Füchtel Vechta got a freekick which was hit by Kai Baumbach. Gerold Zollt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anibal Lluques's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 41st match minute, Q. T. I. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Raymundo to maneuver through the defense. After 45 minutes, Anibal Lluques made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Gerold Zollt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

I.'s Casimiro Guillelmus was substituted for Julian Raymundo. Paulo Txatxu made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Matthieu Richardot sent off a good shot on target. After 65 minutes Q. T. I.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcus Terstappen who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Lluques in the 68th minute of play forced DJK Füchtel Vechta's goalkeeper Gerold Zollt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Q. T. I.'s Faustino Txerran managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mauro Galvão in the 72 minute of the game.
