But to his dismay, Albert Gaardahl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Chester Bennington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Gaardahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albert Gaardahl in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Chester Bennington, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 12th minute, Celsinho Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 14 in the game by Albert Gaardahl from a close distance when the talented Chester Bennington managed to make a qualified save. HollywooDogs's players were relieved. Chester Bennington made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albert Gaardahl in the 16th minute. Albert Gaardahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. HollywooDogs's Chester Bennington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Vachon in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albert Gaardahl in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chester Bennington saved HollywooDogs from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, HollywooDogs's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Gaardahl came free, but Chester Bennington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Ricardinho Alvarenga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Vimaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albert Gaardahl in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chester Bennington saved HollywooDogs from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albert Gaardahl got free with Chester Bennington in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the match, La Maquina 9-12-18's Carmelo Vachon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chester Bennington narrowly saved just below the crossbar. La Maquina 9-12-18's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ahmet Baki Tecimer in the 47th minute. Cléberson Prestes made a great header on La Maquina 9-12-18's corner, it was just that HollywooDogs's Chester Bennington managed to reach the ball for a save.

The wind increased when Zé Pedro Mineiro made the kick off in the second half. Chester Bennington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Gaardahl in the 54th minute of play. La Maquina 9-12-18's Jose Vimaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save La Maquina 9-12-18 from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tadeu Vargas during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Albert Gaardahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Chester Bennington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Maquina 9-12-18's Shpëtim Kume was substituted for Cléberson Prestes. When Wilson Motta fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HollywooDogs's protests and gave Wilson Motta a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the HollywooDogs defense, Albert Gaardahl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chester Bennington. The HollywooDogs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chester Bennington should have stopped the shot. La Maquina 9-12-18's Jose Vimaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save La Maquina 9-12-18 from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albert Gaardahl in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chester Bennington saved HollywooDogs from getting behind. 83 minutes into the match, HollywooDogs's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Gaardahl came free, but Chester Bennington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zé Pedro Mineiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jose Vimaro was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Albert Gaardahl struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Chester Bennington didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Maquina 9-12-18. Samuca Donatello made in the 93rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gualterio Peter. Tadeu Vargas was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of La Maquina 9-12-18 booed when HollywooDogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeu Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball.
