Spectators: 155 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Roger Pil made the kick off which started today's match. Robin Olsen was a little too slow when Victor Piţurcă got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 10th minute, Matei Félix Júnior hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bogdan Lobonț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Pil in the 12th minute of play. Victor Piţurcă blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robin Olsen having to make a save. 13 minutes into the match, Haymakers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Piţurcă came free, but Robin Olsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogdan Lobonț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niclas Hermansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Roger Pil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Lobonț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Victor Piţurcă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Robin Olsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Victor Piţurcă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robin Olsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Emerald's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Olof Mogren came free, but Bogdan Lobonț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robin Olsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Piţurcă, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Bogdan Lobonț came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Haymakers FC's Jim Håkansson. But to his dismay, Jim Håkansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Ahlbeck in the 45th minute of play forced Emerald's goalkeeper Bogdan Lobonț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Emerald's Ioan Logofătu was substituted for Julio Iglesias. The wind increased when Victor Piţurcă made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Haymakers FC got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Josefsson. Kurt Ahlbecks short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Bogdan Lobonț to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 75th minute, Victor Piţurcă left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Emerald fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Haymakers FC's Robin Olsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Piţurcă in the 81st minute of play. Bogdan Lobonț made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Olof Mogren in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Emerald's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Håkansson came free, but Bogdan Lobonț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogdan Lobonț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Ahlbeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Haymakers FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Uno Björklund hit a great ball. Jaime Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
