Bogdan Lobonț was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Carmelo Vachon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carmelo Vachon really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Jose Vimaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Piţurcă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime Carioca hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. A throw-in in the 20th minute of the game was made by Hidayet Baran with Albert Gaardahl as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a rather tough play, Emerald's Gabriel Vermeşan got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Emerald's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Carmelo Vachon scored to the left of an out of position Bogdan Lobonț, making the score, 2-0. Bogdan Lobonț made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bastien Domenge in the 30th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Emerald's goalkeeper Bogdan Lobonț had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carmelo Vachon.

La Maquina 9-12-18 made a substitution. Shpëtim Kume replaced Cléberson Prestes. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Piţurcă to make the kick off. Bogdan Lobonț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Gaardahl in the 54th minute of the match. Jaime Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Albert Gaardahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Lobonț having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Victor Piţurcă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bogdan Lobonț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Vachon in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Victor Piţurcă recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jose Vimaro. Victor Piţurcă showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 78 minutes into the match, Emerald's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Vachon came free, but Bogdan Lobonț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute of the match La Maquina 9-12-18 got a corner. Emerald's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bastien Domenge ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bogdan Lobonț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bastien Domenge in the 82nd minute of the match. Victor Piţurcă might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jose Vimaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Piţurcă ran back to his position shaking his head. La Maquina 9-12-18's Jose Vimaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Piţurcă in the 86th minute of play. Carmelo Vachon scored 3-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bogdan Lobonț, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute, 朱风俊 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Vermeşan charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Vermeşan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gabriel Vermeşan hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Bogdan Lobonț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Vachon, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Emerald's Bogdan Lobonț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Ebardo in the 97th minute of play. La Maquina 9-12-18's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
