Flavius Stanciu hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Eintracht Cernavoda's Yin Li Ying got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Alvinegro Carioca fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! In the 41st minute there was a penalty for Eintracht Cernavoda. Flavius Stanciu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fiori Koehler. 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wang Fei Feng to make the kick off. Wang Fei Feng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filip Pantiș's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fiori Koehler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Panos Lillis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Fiori Koehler successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eintracht Cernavoda's Ionică Corcoveanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wang Fei Feng in the 64th minute of play. Fiori Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavius Stanciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fiori Koehler made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Yin Li Ying sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th match minute, Alvinegro Carioca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celsinho Diniz to maneuver through the defense. Eintracht Cernavoda made a substitution. Emilian Bădulescu replaced Cristi Dulca. Celsinho Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Yin Li Ying took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Fiori Koehler to make any attempt to save it. Wang Fei Feng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionică Corcoveanu having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Alvinegro Carioca's zone, Yin Li Ying stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fiori Koehler came out of the goal and Yin Li Ying tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fiori Koehler made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Yin Li Ying sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Eintracht Cernavoda's Gigel Gologan got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 92nd minute, Yin Li Ying got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Yin Li Ying had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
