In the 4th minute, Rainer Marthaler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th minute, Evaristo Froila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, Mihail Pânzaru made a precise shot to the right of Emil Arendarski. Albano Argider hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Mihail Pânzaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Emil Arendarski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jesus Fix's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Loren Prats read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Modesto Cheche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pegaso's Joaquin Havier was substituted for Mihail Pânzaru. Joaquin Havier took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emil Arendarski. Emil Arendarski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The supporters of Pegaso booed when CA Juventud Unida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doğuhan Usbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Pegaso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Loren Prats made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Rainer Marthaler sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Valery in the 92nd minute of play forced CA Juventud Unida's goalkeeper Emil Arendarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 93 minutes into the game, when Silvano Endira put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pegaso fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 95 minutes, CA Juventud Unida's Saverio Petrigai got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Loren Prats. Saverio Petrigai was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 98th minute. CA Juventud Unida's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A nice corner shot did that Clodoveo Hanni got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Loren Prats quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
