When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Rainer Marthaler sped through Alvinegro Carioca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fiori Koehler. Fiori Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rainer Marthaler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd match minute, CA Juventud Unida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Steven to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rainer Marthaler in the 36th minute of play forced Alvinegro Carioca's goalkeeper Fiori Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rainer Marthaler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, CA Juventud Unida's Saverio Petrigai dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. When Rainer Marthaler came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the CA Juventud Unida fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rainer Marthaler couldn't finish the play. Celsinho Diniz hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 63rdth minute of the game Jesús Banana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alvinegro Carioca's Fiori Koehler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, CA Juventud Unida's Rainer Marthaler got a free kick in the 68th minute. Bruno Africano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Arendarski having to interfere. Fiori Koehler made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Rainer Marthaler sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Fiori Koehler successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Rainer Marthaler, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 78 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Fiori Koehler was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Emil Arendarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Africano in the 81st minute of the match. With a little luck, Alvinegro Carioca's Fiori Koehler got control of the ball when Saverio Petrigai tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baybars-Tolgahan Balta hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Fiori Koehler was a little too slow when Saverio Petrigai got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 1-3. Alvinegro Carioca's Enéas Queirós was substituted for Atak Sehriyar. CA Juventud Unida played a much better game than Alvinegro Carioca and deserved their victory. The Alvinegro Carioca players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
