The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Epifanio Gabrio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Steve Trawel in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Penuel Football Club's goalkeeper Epifanio Gabrio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steve Trawel. In the 9th minute, Sonny Marenghi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Fårdala FF defense, Eduardo Pires kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gunnar Håning. The Fårdala FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gunnar Håning should have stopped the shot. When Fårdala FF's Steve Trawel in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Penuel Football Club's goalie prevented a goal. Steve Trawel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fårdala FF's Gunnar Håning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Pires in the 17th minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Jorge-Luis Borges who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fårdala FF's Gunnar Håning was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lucio Panpili's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Epifanio Gabrio firmly grabbed it by the left post. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Penuel Football Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ola Asserlind was slow to take the kick. During this time Fårdala FF's players had a chance to rest. Steve Trawel took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Epifanio Gabrio. Epifanio Gabrio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Epifanio Gabrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Alfors, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After some careless play in the Fårdala FF defense, Eduardo Pires kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gunnar Håning. The Fårdala FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gunnar Håning should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Fårdala FF's Valentin Peru got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Gunnar Håning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge-Luis Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the game, Fårdala FF's Steve Trawel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Epifanio Gabrio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Gunnar Håning made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Jorge-Luis Borges sent off a good shot on target. Steve Trawel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Gabrio having to interfere. After having played for 56 minutes, Valdemar Sjöberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fårdala FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdemar Sjöberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute, Ola Asserlind hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gunnar Håning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge-Luis Borges in the 58th minute of the match. Gunnar Håning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge-Luis Borges in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Eduardo Pires left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Penuel Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Gunnar Håning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chen Shi Ran, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Epifanio Gabrio came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Fårdala FF's Lucio Panpili. But to his dismay, Lucio Panpili quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Chen Shi Ran scored 3-4 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gunnar Håning, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Jorge-Luis Borges got free in front of the goal in the 72nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Gunnar Håning was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 75 minutes of play, Penuel Football Club's Jorge-Luis Borges made it 3-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gunnar Håning was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fårdala FF's Gunnar Håning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge-Luis Borges in the 78th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fårdala FF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! When Jorge-Luis Borges came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Penuel Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge-Luis Borges couldn't finish the play. Gunnar Håning took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge-Luis Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gunnar Håning made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge-Luis Borges in the 91st minute. When Penuel Football Club's Jorge-Luis Borges in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fårdala FF's goalie prevented a goal. After 95 minutes Fårdala FF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jorge-Luis Borges who took care of the corner kick. Penuel Football Club's Jorge-Luis Borges was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gunnar Håning in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Penuel Football Club booed when Fårdala FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Peru didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 101st minute Jorge-Luis Borges managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. When the final whistle sounded Penuel Football Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fårdala FF.
