In the 5th minute, Penuel Football Club's Nando Pereira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Fårdala FF's zone, Nando Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunnar Håning came out of the goal and Nando Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nando Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Gunnar Håning made a huge save. Epifanio Gabrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Panpili in the 18th minute of the match. If Steve Trawel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Epifanio Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Trawel in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute Nando Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Håning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nando Pereira in the 28th minute of play forced Fårdala FF's goalkeeper Gunnar Håning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunnar Håning made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nando Pereira in the 30th minute. A collision led to Fårdala FF getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Claes Björnberg hit a great ball. In the 37th minute Steve Trawel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Gabrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nando Pereira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Gunnar Håning skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Claes Björnberg hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 41 played minutes Fårdala FF got a freekick which was hit by Steve Trawel. In the 45th minute Lucio Panpili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Gabrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Oskar Bredberg hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Jonathan Alfors charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Alfors the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Fårdala FF getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jonathan Alfors hit a great ball. Gunnar Håning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nando Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Epifanio Gabrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Trawel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nando Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Penuel Football Club's Eduardo Pires was substituted for Cecilio Hunfredo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge-Luis Borges in the 79th minute of play forced Fårdala FF's goalkeeper Gunnar Håning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Fårdala FF's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Miguel came free, but Gunnar Håning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Jorge-Luis Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Håning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Pires in the 82nd minute of play forced Fårdala FF's goalkeeper Gunnar Håning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Alfors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Gabrio having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, Penuel Football Club's Eduardo Pires nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gunnar Håning made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 94 minutes into the match, Fårdala FF's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Miguel came free, but Gunnar Håning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fårdala FF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Penuel Football Club.
