After taking down the ball on Limburg United's corner Gunter Jansens fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Romulo Viator quite easily take care of the ball. Romulo Viator made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Thielens in the 6th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Carneiro came free, but Julius Vanneste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to OTTO FC - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Kevyn De Bruyne hit a great ball. Romulo Viator made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anthony Standaerts in the 21st minute. Su Shu Zhen scored 2-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julius Vanneste, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joop Hollandts in the 38th minute of play forced OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Romulo Viator to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kaká Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joop Hollandts to strike the kick off in the second half. Romulo Viator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bob Thielens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Limburg United's Julius Vanneste got control of the ball when Su Shu Zhen tried to sneak it across the goal line. The attack was good, but when Wojciech Szczęsny in the 58th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 62nd minute, Bob Thielens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Limburg United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Joel De Rijck kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Romulo Viator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Thielens in the 73rd minute of the match. Limburg United's Julius Vanneste proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Limburg United from getting a goal against them. The Limburg United support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
