Julius Vanneste was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute, Reynaldo Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, Fabian Adriaanse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Maverick Futebol Clube's Edinho Paraíba got control of the ball when Gunter Jansens tried to sneak it across the goal line. Douglas Debecker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Edinho Paraíba made a huge save. In the 31st minute, Joop Hollandts ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edinho Paraíba was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vinícius Haaland in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julius Vanneste saved Limburg United from getting behind. Maverick Futebol Clube's Edinho Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joop Hollandts in the 37th minute of play. Reynaldo Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julius Vanneste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Neves in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joop Hollandts made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Maverick Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Debecker came free, but Edinho Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinícius Haaland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julius Vanneste having to interfere. After having played for 54 minutes, Joop Hollandts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Limburg United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joop Hollandts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vinícius Haaland blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julius Vanneste having to make a save. In the 61st minute Reynaldo Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius Vanneste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Limburg United's Douglas Debecker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edinho Paraíba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 64 minutes, Douglas Debecker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Limburg United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Debecker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julius Vanneste made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Wit Chuchro sent off a good shot on target. 1-2 became the score in the 74th minute when Reynaldo Neves elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Julius Vanneste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edinho Paraíba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joop Hollandts went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Maverick Futebol Clube's Fabian Adriaanse got a free kick in the 84th minute. Edinho Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunter Jansens, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Joop Hollandts hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
