Mário Súľovský showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 7th minute, Kaká Carneiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mário Súľovský was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Su Shu Zhen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mário Súľovský took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mário Súľovský made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Carneiro in the 21st minute of play. After some careless play in the Estudiantes de La Plata defense, Kaká Carneiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mário Súľovský. The Estudiantes de La Plata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mário Súľovský should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Filomeno Marko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romulo Viator was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 27th minute Estudiantes de La Plata were awarded a corner. Florencio Ponc went to the cornerflag to take it. Kaká Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Mário Súľovský didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OTTO FC - FSCMZ. After a defensive mix-up in Estudiantes de La Plata's zone, Kaká Carneiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mário Súľovský came out of the goal and Kaká Carneiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Su Shu Zhen in the 68th minute of play forced Estudiantes de La Plata's goalkeeper Mário Súľovský to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Marko came free, but Romulo Viator reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Estudiantes de La Plata were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after OTTO FC - FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Florencio Ponc took the corner. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Su Shu Zhen managed to get in a good position for a shot. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Su Shu Zhen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mário Súľovský breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Estudiantes de La Plata supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching OTTO FC - FSCMZ's performance. The match ended with a win for OTTO FC - FSCMZ.
