Limburg United's Julius Vanneste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Neves in the 85th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Maverick Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 蔡桑景 to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Maverick Futebol Clube's zone, Gunter Jansens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edinho Paraíba came out of the goal and Gunter Jansens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Maverick Futebol Clube supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Limburg United's performance. The match ended with a win for Limburg United.
