Edinho Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Fritz Salgado in the 17th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by BEIJO CARNAVAL's Gerardo Abilio. Richard Peso might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edinho Paraíba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Richard Peso ran back to his position shaking his head. Reynaldo Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vinícius Haaland to strike the kick off in the second half. Edinho Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Peso in the 58th minute of play. Edinho Paraíba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Richard Peso's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Peso during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, BEIJO CARNAVAL's Richard Peso got a free kick in the 79th minute. Aristides Lehior hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. If Richard Peso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of BEIJO CARNAVAL's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. BEIJO CARNAVAL may have spent more time on the ball, but Maverick Futebol Clube were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
