Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Stefan Rasiak successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 3rd match minute, Deportivo Turro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Cordaryal to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute Iago Bala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germán Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iago Bala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Germán Luz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Stefan Rasiak made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Malcolm Stenman sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute, Fabiano Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Malcolm Stenman in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stefan Rasiak saved America Futebol Clube SP from getting behind. After 26 played minutes Deportivo Turro got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Urko. Dreas Jamieson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute America Futebol Clube SP were awarded a corner. Dreas Jamieson went to the cornerflag to take it. With a little luck, America Futebol Clube SP's Stefan Rasiak got control of the ball when Malcolm Stenman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Germán Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iago Bala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Deportivo Turro booed when America Futebol Clube SP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Capixaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Laércio Amorim in the 43rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Deportivo Turro's Qi Sheng Chong. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeronimo Rico was the one to do the kick off. Jeronimo Rico might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Germán Luz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeronimo Rico ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Jeronimo Rico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Germán Luz was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Deportivo Turro made a substitution. Pedrinho Moreira replaced Wilton Queirós. After 70 minutes Deportivo Turro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. Stefan Rasiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malcolm Stenman in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, America Futebol Clube SP's Jeronimo Rico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Germán Luz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Al Horford during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anselmo Cordaryal kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Deportivo Turro's Germán Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Rico in the 94th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeronimo Rico in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Germán Luz saved Deportivo Turro from getting behind. In the 97th play minute Jeronimo Rico came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Germán Luz. 0-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. America Futebol Clube SP walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
