It was a well-played corner which Curt Montes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 21st minute, Erwin Jury hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saint Côme de Fresné's Gameiro Lenoble played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro do Valle in the 24th minute of play. After 26 minutes, Erwin Jury made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. MarquinhosEC's Matei Răducu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the game, Darren Mignot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saint Côme de Fresné's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MarquinhosEC the free kick. A collision led to Saint Côme de Fresné getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Darren Mignot hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro do Valle in the 36th minute of play forced Saint Côme de Fresné's goalkeeper Gameiro Lenoble to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pascal Pont kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Yannick Bach hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The supporters of Saint Côme de Fresné booed when MarquinhosEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Iniesta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Davy Poirrier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gameiro Lenoble made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Gabriel Martini sent off a good shot on target. Gameiro Lenoble made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro do Valle in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, one of Saint Côme de Fresné:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Saint Côme de Fresné. Gameiro Lenoble had in the 61stth minute some difficulties stopping Gabriel Martini's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Davy Poirrier in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matei Răducu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alessandro do Valle in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gameiro Lenoble saved Saint Côme de Fresné from getting behind. Luc Boulogne kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. MarquinhosEC made a substitution. Perivaldo Guimarães replaced Curt Montes. MarquinhosEC made a substitution.
