After a rather tough play, Sociedad Anónima's Sengrat Nazario got a free kick in the 5th minute. Klaas Dejonghe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marino Malet, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After some careless play in the Wariatów Kupa defense, Velasco Rollan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Klaas Dejonghe. The Wariatów Kupa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Klaas Dejonghe should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zbyszko Kempski got free with Gianluigi Buffon in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Velasco Rollan in the 20th minute of play forced Wariatów Kupa's goalkeeper Klaas Dejonghe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Sociedad Anónima's goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zbyszko Kempski. A nice corner shot did that Maciej Ligas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gianluigi Buffon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 30th minute, Velasco Rollan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Klaas Dejonghe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sengrat Nazario in the 35th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Wariatów Kupa's zone, Velasco Rollan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klaas Dejonghe came out of the goal and Velasco Rollan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Wariatów Kupa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sociedad Anónima were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marino Malet to strike the kick off in the second half. When Marino Malet came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Sociedad Anónima fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marino Malet couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes in the game Teodor Ivănescu did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jaxx Jax. In the 66th minute, Mikolaj Sochacki made a precise shot to the right of Gianluigi Buffon. Sociedad Anónima's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Gianluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikolaj Sochacki in the 68th minute of play. Marino Malet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Klaas Dejonghe made a huge save. Sociedad Anónima made a substitution. Cordaryal Valdecañas replaced Ramos Trasmiera. In the 80th minute Sociedad Anónima were awarded a corner. Niva Bruna went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Sociedad Anónima's Sengrat Nazario to a score. 1-2 in the 81st minute. Felix Larren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sociedad Anónima supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sociedad Anónima would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
