Hitzeder Serans took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paijo Sutrisna. SAPI FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of SAPI FC booed when Atletico Maturrango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Zuazna didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd match minute, SAPI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dandung Krishna to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to SAPI FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Caio Dante hit a great ball.

Jens-Erik Mårtensson replaced Tito Rangkuti. Paijo Sutrisna was a little too slow when Ederono Ojero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-1. Atletico Maturrango were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after SAPI FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Paijo Sutrisna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ederono Ojero's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. SAPI FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
