Rian Giggs took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Alves. Manuel Alves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 8th minute, Rian Giggs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Alves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Kaido Lilleorg kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Manuel Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Sabaneta FC's Kevin Mier got control of the ball when Matías Mendes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benito Lain during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st minute Well-Well Waack shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Mier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Sabaneta FC's Kevin Mier got control of the ball when Matías Mendes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute, Brun Bucaran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kevin Mier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matías Mendes in the 30th minute. Sabaneta FC's Osmundo Bolde was substituted for Fabian Lawrence. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rian Giggs in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Alves saved Izaltina FAD from getting behind. Manuel Alves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rian Giggs's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Manuel Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislaw Cempa in the 39th minute of the match. William Angelsø could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Kevin Mier made a huge save. Matías Mendes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kevin Mier came out and tried to block the shot, but Matías Mendes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 45th minute. After the first half Sabaneta FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Manuel Alves came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Sabaneta FC's Rian Giggs. But to his dismay, Rian Giggs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 54 minutes into the match, Sabaneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Well-Well Waack came free, but Kevin Mier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 minutes Izaltina FAD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Osmundo Bolde who took care of the corner kick. Stanislaw Cempa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sabaneta FC made a substitution. Yoel Magarinos replaced Firman Urquizu. Izaltina FAD made a substitution. Silvio Honesto replaced Leandro Sugar. Kevin Mier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Angelsø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute Rian Giggs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Well-Well Waack in the 70th minute of play forced Sabaneta FC's goalkeeper Kevin Mier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kevin Mier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Angelsø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Izaltina FAD's Patrik Gribfeldt got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Kevin Mier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Well-Well Waack, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Kevin Mier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Mendes in the 87th minute of play. Manuel Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petri Romuroso in the 90th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Sabaneta FC's Petri Romuroso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Manuel Alves. Manuel Alves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. When Sabaneta FC's Rian Giggs in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Izaltina FAD's goalie prevented a goal. Sabaneta FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
