In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zjem Cię's goalkeeper Napoleon Jajko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Brun Bucaran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Palacio in the 22nd minute of play forced Sabaneta FC's goalkeeper Kevin Mier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Sabaneta FC's Rian Giggs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Napoleon Jajko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kevin Mier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mateo Palacio's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Kevin Mier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Palacio, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Napoleon Jajko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislaw Cempa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Zjem Cię's Mateo Palacio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kevin Mier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Petri Romuroso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Napoleon Jajko. That made the score 1-2 in the 43 minute of play. The Sabaneta FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zjem Cię were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rian Giggs made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Sabaneta FC's goalkeeper Kevin Mier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateo Palacio. Bonifaco Corrillos hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Kevin Mier was a little too slow when Mateo Palacio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zjem Cię's goalkeeper Napoleon Jajko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kevin Mier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateo Palacio in the 63rd minute. Zjem Cię made a substitution. Murillo Cedeno replaced Iwo Cwynar. Sabaneta FC made a substitution. Osmundo Bolde replaced Fabian Lawrence. A collision led to Zjem Cię getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Czeslaw Pawlak hit a great ball. When Sabaneta FC's Yoel Magarinos in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zjem Cię's goalie prevented a goal. Napoleon Jajko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Masciarelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Zjem Cię supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Zjem Cię would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
