Atlanta's goalkeeper Tony Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Tony Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateo Palacio. C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Palacio in the 20th minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Mateo Palacio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the C. A. Atlanta defense, Mateo Palacio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tony Guimarães. The C. A. Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tony Guimarães should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mateo Palacio in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tony Guimarães saved C. A. Atlanta from getting behind. Tony Guimarães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mateo Palacio's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Zjem Cię's Mateo Palacio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tony Guimarães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mateo Palacio in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tony Guimarães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute, Czeslaw Pawlak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mateo Palacio made a kick off. Tony Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Palacio in the 53rd minute of play. Tony Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Palacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Evaristo Rosio in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Zjem Cię's Iwo Cwynar. If Mateo Palacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. C. A. Tony Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Palacio in the 65th minute of the match. Atlanta:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for C. A. Atlanta. Tony Guimarães went to the wrong direction when Mateo Palacio was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. A collision led to C. A. Atlanta getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Evaristo Rosio hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Atlanta's zone, Ciriaco Emenon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tony Guimarães came out of the goal and Ciriaco Emenon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Mateo Palacio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zjem Cię's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateo Palacio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tony Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mateo Palacio in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tony Guimarães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 97 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Palacio came free, but Tony Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Zjem Cię players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
