If Nichifor Codruț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Ciemiega in the 44th minute of play forced F.C.BARLAD's goalkeeper Wojtek Szczęsny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 played minutes F.C.BARLAD got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Paz. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nichifor Codruț stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristian Vieri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Wojtek Szczęsny made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sait Remzi in the 63rd minute of play forced F.C.BARLAD's goalkeeper Wojtek Szczęsny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the F.C.BARLAD defense, Gabríel Vassaras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wojtek Szczęsny. The F.C.BARLAD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wojtek Szczęsny should have stopped the shot. Wojtek Szczęsny made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Tavs Kirck sent off a good shot on target. After 71 minutes F.C.BARLAD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Comunardo Cianci who took care of the corner kick. Vc Brye made a substitution. Fox 鲁迅 replaced Cristian Vieri. After 81 minutes, Dumitru Surdu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C.BARLAD and the Vc Brye players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to F.C.BARLAD getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Dumitru Surdu hit a great ball. Wojtek Szczęsny didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thomas Cochrane went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Wojtek Szczęsny made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Gabríel Vassaras sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Sait Remzi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wojtek Szczęsny. That made the score 0-6 in the 96 minute of play. The F.C.BARLAD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vc Brye were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
