Dinu Bocu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

In the 74th match minute, Ämmer Sportfreaks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Chauvet to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Hamburg Fighters booed when Ämmer Sportfreaks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Chauvet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Willem Rinert charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Willem Rinert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, Willem Rinert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lars Chauvet made in the 96th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Napoleon Moczkiewicz immediately put the ball in play. Hamburg Fighters's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
