Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Conceicão to make the kick off. Alexandrie CF's Matthias Brandin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinu Bocu in the 55th minute of play. Matthias Brandin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dinu Bocu went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Valerian Podlich might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matthias Brandin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valerian Podlich ran back to his position shaking his head. Alexandrie CF's Wang Guang Chuan got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute Valerian Podlich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthias Brandin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamburg Fighters's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gianluca Balla in the 73rd minute. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alexandrie CF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gianluca Balla was slow to take the kick. During this time Hamburg Fighters's players had a chance to rest. Gianluca Balla made a great header on Hamburg Fighters's corner, it was just that Alexandrie CF's Matthias Brandin managed to reach the ball for a save. Francisco Conceicão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Pavlos Konstantakakis made a huge save.
