YNWA's Alisson Becker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksander Bykowski in the 14th minute of play. When Aleksander Bykowski fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gortaty's protests and gave Aleksander Bykowski a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gortaty getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Aleksander Bykowski hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ata Bircan in the 21st minute of play forced Gortaty's goalkeeper Karol Kopacz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tilemachos Romanidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd match minute, Liverpool F.C. YNWA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baturay Erten to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Gortaty defense, Ata Bircan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karol Kopacz. The Gortaty fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karol Kopacz should have stopped the shot. Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Dominik Zawacki was substituted for Tilemachos Romanidis. Alisson Becker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Siembab in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Gortaty's goalkeeper Karol Kopacz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ata Bircan. Karol Kopacz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marinos Sidiropoulos in the 96th minute of the match. In the 98th minute, Gortaty's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marinos Sidiropoulos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Liverpool F.C. YNWA getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Tytus Lichucki hit a great ball. When the match was over Liverpool F.C. YNWA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gortaty throughout the match.
